Lilian Sun receives the Olin Teague Award at the National Space
Club Awards banquet April 1st.
Lili is shown with National Space Club President Marc Johansen and VP
and Award Chair Suzy Sterner.
Lili worked as a high school intern in the Code 663 laboratory during
the summer of 2010.

Midshipman Chadwick Healy receives his diploma from President Barack Obama at the 2009 U.S. Naval Academy graduation ceremony in Annapolis, MD on May 22nd. Ensign Healy worked with Drs. Jeff Livas and Ira Thorpe of the LISA Team in the Gravitational Astrophysics Laboratory at GSFC to develop lock acquisition algorithms for laser stabilization cavities. The LISA mission relies on extremely stable lasers to detect the distortion of space caused by inspiraling massive black holes in the early Universe.

Kyle Aaron Norman, a senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder was recently named a 2009 John Mather Nobel Scholar for his work on the LISA mission. Kyle was a summer intern at NASA GSFC working on mechanical design and analysis of the LISA telescope and laser stabilization cavity.
